spectacular scenery on its journey north, ending its journey in
the 'Heartbeat' village of Goathland. The station here also featured
in the film 'Harry Potter and the philosphers stone'. Explore this
picturesque moorland village before returning to Pickering.

but well worth seeing. Its many attractions include : York
Minster, The Shambles, the castle walls & the National
Railway Museum.
