Take a journey on the NYM Railway that begins in Pickering and winds its way through spectacular scenery on its journey north, ending its journey in the 'Heartbeat' village of Goathland. The station here also featured in the film 'Harry Potter and the philosphers stone'. Explore this picturesque moorland village before returning to Pickering.

 

  

Inland is the ancient walled city of York. Very busy in high season but well worth seeing. Its many attractions include : York Minster, The Shambles, the castle walls & the National Railway Museum.
